OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT

• Chatsworth produces approximately 70% of its own electricity.
• On our roof we have 72 Photovoltaic Solar panels generating14.4 Kilowatts of power to supply our building with electricity.

• We have lowered our consumption dramatically by installing the latest generation in energy efficient lighting. The entire building is outfitted with T-8 fluorescent light fixtures using electronic ballasts.

• We have no artificial air conditioning. In summer we enjoy the natural Long Island Sound offshore breezes through our windows & large front door. The building is kept cooler with ceiling fans, and also by old growth ivy covering the brick all summer.
